We don’t recommend it. Here’s why:
Frontier, Alpha and Alpha Light Cutlery are hard anodized. Anodization produces a very durable finish on the outside of the utensil. it is not a coating (which could wear or break off).
However, the anodized finish may well be damaged by the caustic cleanser used in dishwashers. If the cutlery is (inadvertently) washed in a dishwasher, the finish may develop a rough, matte appearance.
Should damage of this kind occur, damaged utensils should not be used.
Titanium Cutlery has a blue anodized finish. If this finish is removed by the cleanser of a dishwasher, the cutlery (which will now be grey) is still safe to use.
