Wilderness Wash is biodegradable, meaning it will break down naturally over time when exposed to environmental conditions.
However, biodegradable does not mean it is safe to use directly in lakes, rivers, streams, or other waterways.
Even biodegradable soaps can adversely affect aquatic ecosystems.
To minimise environmental impact, always follow Leave No Trace principles by washing and disposing of wastewater at least 70 metres (200 feet) away from any natural water source.
This allows the soil to help filter and break down the wastewater before it reaches sensitive aquatic environments.
