While Wilderness Wash is biodegradable, this means it breaks down over time when exposed to environmental factors like water and sunlight. However, biodegradable soaps can still harm aquatic life and should not be used directly in lakes or streams.
Please follow Leave No Trace principles by washing and disposing of wastewater at least 200 feet (70 meters) away from any open water source to minimize environmental impact.
